Job Summary:

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the safe planning and execution of all lifting, hoisting, and rigging activities in steel erection and related works. This role ensures that all lifting operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and validate lifting operations, including crane setup, load charts, and exclusion zones.
• Supervise riggers, crane operators, and signalmen during lifting activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, equipment inspection, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, pre-lift checks, and stop operations when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Coordinate with site engineers and safety officers to ensure smooth and safe lifting operations.

Qualifications:

• At least College level or Vocational graduate (Engineering/Technical course an advantage)
• With valid TESDA NC in Rigging or equivalent lifting certification (advantage)
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience supervising lifting operations using cranes, hoists, or heavy equipment in construction or structural steel projects
• Knowledgeable in lifting plans, load charts, and risk assessments
• Skilled in coordinating with riggers, crane operators, and safety officers to ensure safe lifting execution
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site full time
