Position Overview

We are looking for a Site Engineer who can take on the role of Lifting Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient lifting operations at construction and erection sites. This role ensures all lifting activities comply with safety standards, project specifications, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) — licensed or non-licensed
  • With valid TESDA NC in Rigging or equivalent lifting certification
  • 2–4 years experience supervising lifting operations using cranes, hoists, or heavy equipment in construction or structural steel projects
  • Knowledgeable in lifting plans, load charts, and risk assessments
  • Skilled in coordinating with riggers, crane operators, and safety officers for safe lifting execution
  • Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness
  • Physically fit and willing to work on-site full time

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute daily lifting operations at site in compliance with safety and engineering standards
  • Prepare and review lifting plans, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure all equipment and personnel are ready for operation
  • Coordinate closely with riggers, crane operators, and site engineers to ensure proper lifting techniques and safe load handling
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures for all lifting activities
  • Monitor lifting equipment conditions and report any irregularities or maintenance needs
  • Promote safety culture and ensure strict adherence to company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies
