About the Role

As
General
Accounting Associate
, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of Versa Innovations. You'll handle day-to-day accounting transactions, manage reconciliations, ensure accurate reporting, and support compliance requirements — all while using the company's ERP system to streamline financial operations. Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Update and monitor daily cash position reports, including check and voucher transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of all payments and assist in payment releases.
• Collaborate with departments for accounting audits and ensure complete documentation for every transaction.
• Post payment journals for local disbursements and verify supplier receipts.

Accounts Receivable

• Process invoices, billing statements, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and collections.
• Post receivables in the accounting system and coordinate AR reports with concerned departments.
• Verify withholding taxes and ensure completeness of billing documentation.

Accounts Reconciliation

• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor daily banking activities and ensure all transactions are properly reflected.
• Detect and report irregularities through regular reconciliation and documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and reports.

Cash Advances, Liquidations, and Reimbursements

• Process and monitor cash advances, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare reports on unliquidated cash advances and assist in the replenishment of petty cash funds.
• Audit liquidation reports and enforce timely submission from employees.

Other Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager in compliance reporting and tax preparation.
• Perform other accounting functions as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
  in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of the accounting cycle
  , ERP systems, and journal entries.
• Experience with
  Finance & Accounting systems
  (e.g.,
  Odoo, QuickBooks, NetSuite
  ).
• Advanced Excel skills
  and strong data analysis capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
