AU Tax Accountant

Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines Frontline Accounting Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records and preparation of income tax return and Business Activity Statements for Australian clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing superior financial and accounting services.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation.
  • Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and superannuation funds.
  • Prepare business activity statements for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
  • Execute month-end closing activities, involving journals, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a work from home arrangement.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or Class Super) is ideal.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City.
  • Must be willing to work on AU Shift (7AM to 3PM MNL).

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement: Work From Home (WFH)
