The General Ledger Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records in accordance with accounting standards, regulations, and client-specific policies. This role supports the financial reporting process, performs reconciliations, and contributes to process improvements within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliations and clearings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Prepare and review balance sheet schedules to support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Deliver data-driven analysis and insights to assist management in strategic decision-making and performance enhancement

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Identify opportunities for improving general ledger and tax-related processes to drive greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Develop, maintain, and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation to support compliance and audit preparedness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in general ledger accounting
  • Solid knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
  • Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP and skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professional integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per month
