Job Description

This job performs a range of general, clerical, accounting and bookkeeping supports functions of the company. The responsibility includes keeping the financial records updated and preparing financial reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and submit on time an accurate financial statement.
  • Handle daily and weekly bank reconciliation and SL-GL reconciliation.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for PEZA.
  • Prepare the following reports but not limited to profitability reports, accounts schedules, coding of expenses, IRO reports.
  • Prepares accruals and month end amortization and depreciation.
  • Handles and monitor petty cash.
  • Prepares the company's quarterly expenses summary.
  • Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
  • Support the period end closing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Bachelor's Degree Graduate in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance or any accounting related course
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • With 1 -2 years of accounting work experience
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting, accounts reconciliation, finance report preparation and consolidation
  • Comfortable with handling large data sets and automating tasks through advanced excel functions
  • Highly analytical, displays eagerness to learn and understand processes and expectations
  • With above average communication skills
  • Must have exposure in Computerized Accounting Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word
  • Willing for 5-days compressed workweek schedule
  • Amenable to work on-site in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
