Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to lead and manage core HR functions in our travel agency. This role requires a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and strategic HR planning. The ideal candidate will bring both operational efficiency and people-focused leadership to support our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Support Executive Management in aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Recommend improvements to HR policies, systems, and procedures.
- Take the lead in HR projects and organizational development initiatives.
2. Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee the full recruitment process for all vacant roles.
- Lead workforce planning and ensure staffing aligns with business growth.
- Design and implement retention strategies and career development plans.
3. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws (e.g., DOLE regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and foster a healthy workplace culture.
- Conduct internal investigations and manage disciplinary processes.
4. Performance Management & Development
- Oversee performance appraisal cycles and KPIs aligned with department goals.
- Identify training needs and develop or recommend appropriate learning interventions.
- Promote continuous performance improvement through coaching and feedback systems.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll in coordination with Finance.
6. HR Administration & Analytics
- Maintain and audit HR records and systems (e.g., 201 files, HRIS).
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and employee engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or service industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS platforms.
- Residents of Alabang, Paranaque, Las Pinas or nearby provinces or willing to relocate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
