We are seeking a highly motivated professional candidate to help protect our organization's systems, data, and digital assets to be Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, the candidate will monitor security events, respond to incidents, strengthen our defenses, and support the continuous improvement of our security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor networks, systems, and security tools for potential threats and suspicious activity.
  • Investigate security incidents and support incident response and recovery efforts.
  • Coordinate vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing activities.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
  • Assist in developing and updating security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and help ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support identity and access management processes, including MFA and privilege access reviews.
  • Monitor security awareness training progress and guidance to employees.
  • Stay current with emerging cyber threats, trends, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • Candidates with sufficient relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree requirements.
  • Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security solutions.
  • Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security solutions.
  • Ability to analyze logs, investigate alerts, and respond to security events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Minimum of 2-years professional experience in cybersecurity.
  • Professional cybersecurity experience must include vulnerability assessment, incident response, SOC/monitoring, or other relevant cybersecurity roles.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC, NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, cloud services, and cloud-based security solutions.
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
