Job Summary:

The SCADA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems that monitor and control industrial processes. This role involves integrating hardware and software solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliable system performance to support operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for process automation.
  • Develop and maintain SCADA software applications, including programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and RTUs (Remote Terminal Units).
  • Perform system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA networks and equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and implement enhancements for reliability, security, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Proven experience with SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE iFIX, Siemens WinCC, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric).
  • Experience in system integration, network architecture, and cybersecurity for industrial control systems.
