Job Description Summary
The office staff member is responsible for managing inventory control, generating and processing purchase orders, and assisting with payroll duties to ensure smooth operational workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain and monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, update records, and ensure timely replenishment of stock by preparing purchase orders.
- Purchase Orders: Create, review, and process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, verify order accuracy, and track delivery schedules.
- Payroll: Collect employee timesheets or attendance data, calculate wages and deductions, issue paychecks or salary slips, and maintain payroll records.
- General office duties may include filing, data entry, and supporting other departments as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and experience in inventory control and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and payroll software or systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Competency with office software such as MS Excel.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
