Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft PowerBi Developer for a 6-month contract to manage, maintain, and optimize our business intelligence and data analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in platform administration, cloud analytics tools, and data governance — with a proactive and collaborative approach to working across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the Microsoft Power BI platform: service settings, workspace management, user access, and usage monitoring.
  • Manage core Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Synapse Data Warehouse, and OneLake.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies, workspace standards, and dataset management best practices.
  • Maintain platform security: Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace permissions, and Azure Active Directory integration.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost using admin and analytics tools.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for Power BI and Fabric assets using tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric updates and drive platform improvements.
  • Provide internal support for platform access, issue resolution, and user best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Power BI Service in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft PowerBi or Fabric architecture and components.
  • Experience with Power BI Premium, dataflows, datasets, and deployment pipelines.
  • Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Hands-on scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and admin tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security principles.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From Php130,000.00 per month
