Job Summary

Join us in building the future of credit infrastructure in the Philippines We're looking for a self-starter Senior Data Scientist who can own the entire data science workflow, from defining the problem to deploying scalable solutions that drive business growth and innovation. The role encompasses developing and enhancing analytical products and insights, while working closely with leadership to translate complex data into actionable strategies, drive innovation across existing offerings, and support data-driven growth and decision-making across the business.

Job Description

  • Leverage AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to accelerate data exploration, model development, and automation
  • Develop, enhance, and validate predictive models and analytical frameworks
  • Streamline analytical processes to support reporting, monitoring, and business decision-making
  • Build data-driven features and insights that enhance product performance and business outcomes
  • Contribute to research and development of new data products and modeling approaches
  • Work with diverse data sources, including credit, behavioral, transactional, and alternative data
  • Lead end-to-end projects: from scoping to implementation and delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate analytics into value

Qualifications

  • Startup / Fintech experience in APAC, ideally in the Philippines
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance data science workflows
  • Solid understanding of machine learning and predictive modeling techniques and hands-on experience with Python and SQL. Experience in MongoDB is a plus
  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Metabase)
  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Hadoop) is a strong plus
  • Experience in building or improving end-to-end modeling pipelines
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex topics clearly to business and technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with the ability to tackle ambiguous business challenges

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
