About the role

Join the dynamic team at YONDU INC.' as a Java Software Engineer | AWS Cloud Migration. This full-time position is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, and will play a vital role in the company's cloud migration efforts.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient Java-based applications and services
  • Migrate existing on-premise applications and infrastructure to the AWS cloud platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges
  • Participate in the development of secure, high-performing, and resilient cloud architectures
  • Continuously improve coding practices, automate deployment processes, and ensure code quality
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java software development
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services and cloud migration best practices
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
