About the Role:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, ensuring that all invoices are collected in a timely manner, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is essential to maintaining cash flow, handling customer inquiries regarding payments, and providing solutions to resolve any issues related to accounts receivable.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable: Oversee and monitor accounts receivable aging reports, ensuring that all outstanding invoices are paid promptly.
  • Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries related to payments, billing issues, and account status through phone, email, or chat.
  • Invoice Generation & Processing: Generate and send accurate invoices and payment reminders to customers.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle and resolve any payment discrepancies, disputes, or billing concerns by coordinating with other departments.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts, payments, transactions, and communications with customers.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Educational Requirements: At least a high school graduate (college level or degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred).

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service roles is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with basic accounting software, Microsoft Office (Excel), and CRM tools.
  • Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
