We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations in a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating inventory, shipments, documentation, and communication between clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of the warehouse/logistics facility, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and customers to track and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, deliveries, and returns using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Prepare shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork.
  • Assist in scheduling labor resources and prioritizing workload based on client SLAs and deadlines.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues such as delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate with clients regarding order status, service issues, and special requests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting, including order accuracy, on-time shipments, and inventory performance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or logistics certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
