General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing and collecting on an accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Follow-ups on the due receivables.
  • Update daily aging and status of accounts receivable, monitors monthly billing submission checklists.
  • Prepares daily collection summary.
  • Updates daily collection to Accounting and Operations Group.
  • Reconcile receivable items and other related matters with accounting and operation.
  • Ensure timely collection and assist in resolution of customer issues preventing payment.
  • Perform collection calls in a fast-paced goal-oriented collection section.
  • Collect check or cash payments from clients in the absence of the collector.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Carry out account and payment reconciliations.
  • Posts and updates collection entries per SAP.
  • Take part in the monthly contract receivable reconciliation with the Project and Accounting Team and assist with finalizing schedules for use of the special (AR) working group.
  • Assists the FPBT Supervisors and Managers in the monthly closings, financial and KPI reporting.
  • Assists on the bank reconciliation process by co-verifying acknowledged and endorsed cash receipts to the department.
  • Assist in documentation and related audit requirements.
  • Ensures processed check vouchers are encoded in a timely manner for monitoring filing purposes.
  • Ensure that corresponding BIR Form 2307 is requested and received.

Educational Attainment

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or any related field

Work Experience

  • 1-2 years of work experience in accounting, treasury or credit and collection
