Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate accounts payable records. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely payments, strong supplier relationships, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Prepare and execute payment runs according to agreed credit terms
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records
  • Coordinate with procurement, operations, and store teams on invoice issues
  • Assist with month-end closing and audit requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations
  • Respond to vendor and internal finance queries professionally
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
  • Experience in F&B is an advantage
