We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations & Observability Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems by leveraging cutting-edge monitoring, observability, and automation tools. You will play a key role in incident response, data analysis, and implementing best practices that enhance system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Jaeger, or similar tools.
  • Monitor cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other platforms) to ensure performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Apply incident response methodologies to manage and resolve critical events effectively.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go to streamline monitoring and operational tasks.
  • Work with distributed tracing systems and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) to optimize observability.
  • Collaborate with security and operations teams to integrate security monitoring tools and best practices.
  • Analyze complex data sets to uncover insights and propose proactive improvements.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in IT operations, observability, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Jaeger.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in large-scale, complex environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud observability platforms like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of incident response processes and security monitoring practices.
  • Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Familiarity with containerized and distributed environments.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
