About the role

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and operate our CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and observability stack. You'll partner with developers to ship reliably, securely, and fast.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with automated testing, quality gates, and artifact/version management.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi; or CloudFormation) for repeatable, reviewable environments.
  • Operate cloud infrastructure (choose: AWS/Azure/GCP): VPC/VNet design, IAM, networking, storage, managed databases, secrets management.
  • Containerize and orchestrate services (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE); implement progressive delivery (blue/green, canary via Argo Rollouts/Flagger).
  • Set up observability: metrics, logs, traces (Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch/Stackdriver/Azure Monitor); build dashboards and alerts.
  • Lead incident response/on-call rotations; drive root-cause analysis and postmortems.
  • Embed security in the pipeline (SAST/DAST, image scanning, SBOMs, policy-as-code) and enforce least-privilege access.
  • Optimize cloud spend (tagging, budgets, rightsizing) and performance.
  • Champion reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, backup/restore & DR drills).
  • Document systems and provide internal enablement.

What you'll need

  • Experience: [2–4 yrs for Mid / 5+ yrs for Senior] in DevOps/SRE/Platform roles.
  • Languages & OS: Strong with Linux; scripting in Bash and one of Python/Go.
  • Cloud: Hands-on with [AWS/Azure/GCP] core services; networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, routing, DNS, TLS).
  • IaC & Config: Terraform (or Pulumi), Helm/Kustomize; GitOps (Argo CD/Flux) is a plus.
  • CI/CD: Built production-grade pipelines incl. tests, security scanning, and rollout strategies.
  • Containers/K8s: Kubernetes in production; understanding of service discovery, ingress, and autoscaling.
  • Observability: Practical with metrics/logs/traces and alert hygiene.
  • Collaboration: Clear communication, incident handling, and documentation habits.

Nice to have

  • Service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), event streaming (Kafka/PubSub), or serverless (Lambda/Cloud Functions).
  • Compliance exposure (SOC 2, ISO 27001), secrets tools (Vault), and policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest).
  • FinOps practices; chaos engineering; data/ML pipeline ops.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php65, Php75,000.00 per month
