Biomedical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Technician to join our team at SVT Meditech Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of medical equipment used in our state-of-the-art laboratories and healthcare facilities.

What you'll be doing

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on medical devices and equipment
• Repair, install, and configure various types of biomedical equipment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all equipment maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meeting safety standards
• Provide training and support to clinical staff on the proper use and care of biomedical equipment
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, industry regulations, and best practices in biomedical equipment maintenance

What we're looking for

• Diploma or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Biomedical Technician or similar role
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of a wide range of medical equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
