Job Description:

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a skilled and detailed oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical devices and equipment to guarantee their proper functionality and safety in our healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on medical devices and equipment to uphold quality standards and comply with regulatory guidelines.

2. Identify and resolve issues with medical devices and equipment promptly, performing necessary repairs.

3. Adjust and calibrate medical devices and equipment following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

4. Maintain detailed records of installation, maintenance, repairs, and calibration for each device and equipment.

5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address their needs and provide technical support when necessary.

6. Stay updated on new technologies and developments in the medical devices and equipment sector.

7. Assist in the setup and configuration of new medical devices and equipment as required.

8. Manage an inventory of spare parts and tools essential for maintenance and repairs.

9. Provide training and assistance to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices and equipment.

Requirements:

1. At least High School Diploma or TESDA relevant courses

2. Previous experience with medical devices, HVAC, and equipment, particularly in a healthcare environment, is advantageous.

3. Proficient in electronics, electrical, mechanics, and computer systems with strong technical aptitude.

4. Ability to understand technical manuals, schematics, and designs.

5. Proficient at executing tasks based on instructions from superiors.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

9. Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and equipment.

10. Familiarity with regulatory standards for medical devices and equipment maintenance.

11. Biomedical Equipment Services NC II certification is a bonus.

12. Willingness to travel abroad for technical trainings and conferences.

Qualifications

• Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate/College Degree (as Bioengineering/Biomed, Electical/Electronics, Technician) or a prior work experience in hands-on capacity of similar job assignment.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Under graduate or those without experience can also apply as trainee
• Prior experience as Biomedical, Electrician and HVAC is a plus
• Senior Highschool

License/Certification:

• Biomedical Equipment Services NC II (Preferred)
• Electrician NC II

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)

Pay: Php14, Php17,000.00 per month
