We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing medical equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, defibrillators, patient monitors).
  • Install and set up new medical devices according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete timely repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, Joint Commission).
  • Work closely with clinical staff to address equipment concerns and support medical operations.
  • Manage inventory and track equipment performance.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotation, if required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field (required).
  • 1–3 years of experience servicing medical equipment preferred.
  • CBET certification (preferred, not required).
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols, medical devices, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
