Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain productivity.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to enhance system reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Support end-users by providing training and guidance on system usage to enhance their technical proficiency.
  • Participate in system upgrades and migrations to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems.
  • Provide input on technology solutions and strategies to support business objectives and drive innovation.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and support.
  • Contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of desktop support and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in hardware and software installation and configuration.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively support and train end-users.
  • Show ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Display strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with technological advancements.
  • Experience with remote support tools and technologies is highly desirable.

Certifications Required
CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent is preferred.
