Job Summary:
The
Sales
Team Lead
plays a key role in driving team performance, ensuring process excellence, and fostering employee growth and engagement. This position is responsible for onboarding new team members through hands-on training and continuous coaching, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed. The role involves monitoring both qualitative and quantitative performance metrics—such as call quality, KPIs, and sales goals—and providing regular feedback and performance reports to maintain alignment with business objectives. They also plays a crucial role in performance management, including implementing corrective actions when necessary, while maintaining a supportive and motivating team environment. In addition, this role partners with team members to identify process improvements, address operational concerns, and ensure smooth resolution of issues related to payroll, customer escalations, or product inquiries
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new team members endorsed by the learning and development team with hands-on training and regular coaching.
- Train personnel to excel in their roles and ensure they stay up to date as processes evolve and improve
- Monitor qualitative individual performance through regular call monitoring, email review, QA, etc.
- Provided regular feedback to your team on their performance against goals, interpersonal behavior, and opportunities for improvements; positively reinforce the good; quickly eradicate the not-so-good
- Monitor quantitative team performance against SLAs, sales goals, and KPIs, and deliver regular reports and new initiatives
- Performance management including the issuance of corrective actions that may involve dismissal of underperforming staff in line with company policies
- Work directly with your team members to prioritize and implement process improvements and new initiatives
- Handle concerns of team members that involves but are not limited to: payroll or commission, customer escalations, and product queries
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good grasp of the products and services offered by the program
- Preferably with previous experience in coaching and nurturing employees in a sales environment
- Capable of doing multi tasks with or without a deadline
