About the role

Gilbert Emerson Marketing Corporation is seeking a Sales Agent to join our dynamic team in San Juan City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Sales Agent, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and fostering strong client relationships within our diverse portfolio of products and services.

What you'll be doing

1. Account Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with store buyers

· Conduct regular store visits (weekly schedule)

· Negotiate shelf space and product placement

· Monitor competitor activities and pricing

2. Order Generation

· Secure purchase orders during each store visit

· Track inventory levels to prevent stockouts

· Recommend order quantities based on sales velocity

· Follow up on pending/approved orders

· Closely observe customer ordering patterns and schedules

· Ensure timely and complete delivery of all purchase orders to meet sales goals

· Regularly coordinate with inventory to address stock availability and prevent stockouts

· Evaluate product suitability with due diligence before offering to each client or customer

3. Merchandising

· Ensure proper product facing and shelf placement

· Maintain clean, organized product displays

· Conduct before/after photos of displays

4. Reporting

· Submit daily call reports with order details

· Document store conditions with photos

· Provide market and competitor intelligence

· Maintain updated account profiles

What we're looking for

  1. Sales experience is a plus (minimum 1 year preferred), but fresh graduates or career shifters with strong potential are welcome to apply.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage and build trust with clients.
  3. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills, or the willingness to learn and develop these abilities.
  4. Goal-driven and motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets, or other tools commonly used in sales and reporting (training will be provided if needed)
  6. Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service.
  7. Willing to adapt, learn quickly, and contribute to the growth of the team and company.
