Backend Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Operations Manager who can make things happen behind the scenes. This role is for someone who thrives on structure, takes ownership of projects from start to finish, and ensures that all operational processes run efficiently across teams.

You will be the backbone of our e-commerce operations — overseeing SOPs, team workflows, HR coordination, and providing executive support to ensure the company operates smoothly and scales effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Operational Leadership

• Lead backend operations, ensuring alignment between departments, and spearheading the execution of key projects and initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and workflows to optimize efficiency across the organization.

2. SOP & Process Optimization

• Take full ownership of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are developed, maintained, and continually refined for efficiency and scalability.
• Work with leadership to define long-term strategies for operational growth and optimization.

3. Senior Team Leadership & Development

• Manage, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring productivity and morale are consistently high.
• Implement performance metrics, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with company goals and KPIs.

4. HR & Organizational Development

• Lead the development and execution of HR initiatives, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Create a scalable workforce structure that can support future company growth.

5. Executive Reporting & Data-Driven Decision Making

• Deliver high-level reports to the CEO and other executives, offering insights into operational performance, bottlenecks, and key opportunities.
• Use advanced data analysis to inform strategic decisions, providing actionable recommendations based on operational trends and metrics.

6. Executive Support & Strategic Initiatives

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and operations leadership, providing critical insights to shape company-wide strategies.
• Oversee complex, multi-departmental projects, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget.

Who You Are

• A strategic thinker with a track record of driving change and optimizing business operations.
• Highly experienced in operations management and business process optimization.
• Proven experience leading large teams and managing complex projects across multiple functions.
• Expert in data-driven decision-making, using key performance metrics and reporting tools to drive business success.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and manage diverse teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in senior operations management roles, with a proven track record in e-commerce or related industries.
• Advanced proficiency in project management, workflow optimization, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, tools (e.g., ClickUp, Google Sheets, DataDashboards), and ERP systems.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience working directly with C-level executives.
• Ability to drive growth and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php50,000.00 per month
