About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team on a project-based engagement. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems, implementing APIs, and collaborating with frontend developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) using Django ORM.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices.
  • Apply MVC architecture and backend design patterns to ensure maintainable code.
  • Write and maintain unit tests using pytest or Django's testing framework.
  • Implement caching strategies using Redis or Memcached.
  • Manage background tasks using Celery and task queues.
  • Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments using Docker.
  • Utilize AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch for application deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using React, Vue, or Django templates to ensure seamless integration.
  • Work with GraphQL and contribute to microservices or domain-driven design initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Mid level experience in backend development with Django and DRF.
  • Strong understanding of REST API design, MVC, and backend design patterns.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases and Django ORM.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
  • Experience writing unit tests for backend systems.
  • Familiarity with Celery, task queues, and background job processing.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Docker or other containerized deployment methods.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and frontend frameworks like React or Vue.
  • Experience in microservices or domain-driven design is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php70,000.00 per month
