Role Overview

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will collaborate with a skilled team of developers to design, build, and maintain custom Java-based websites and applications. Your primary focus will be on backend development using modern frameworks and best practices, ensuring high performance and reliability. You'll also participate in client-facing Scrum meetings, contributing technical insights and helping translate business needs into effective solutions. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise and grow into leadership positions based on your performance and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks to power high-performance applications.
  • Content Management: Implement and manage content-driven solutions using MAGNOLIA CMS, ensuring seamless integration between content workflows and backend systems.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and participate in client-facing Scrum meetings to align on technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Agile Workflow: Contribute actively to Agile sprints, following Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • CI/CD Management: Maintain, optimize, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support smooth development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients when needed to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and share progress updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development, with opportunities to expand expertise in Sitecore and other emerging technologies, supporting long-term career growth within the company.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for database design, queries, and optimization.
  • Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as , FreeMarker, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with MAGNOLIA CMS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker for application deployment and containerization.
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and code quality.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including comfort in client-facing discussions and cross-functional teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php80, Php120,000.00 per month
