
Learning and Development Manager

SUMMARY
The People Development Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of initiatives that drive employee learning, engagement, and leadership growth across the organization. This role oversees the full spectrum of people development programs, including onboarding, performance management, leadership development, and enterprise-wide learning strategies.
Acting as the strategic owner of the company's Learning Management System (LMS) and other development platforms, the Manager will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Compliance, and senior business leaders to ensure alignment of programs with organizational objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can balance strategy and execution, manage cross-functional projects, and champion a culture of continuous learning and engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLearning Strategy & Program Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with company objectives and culture.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and evaluation of onboarding, skills training, performance management, and leadership development programs.
- Partner with department heads and senior leaders to identify capability gaps and design tailored solutions.
- Establish success metrics and continuously measure the impact of learning programs on business performance and employee engagement.
LMS & Technology Management
- Act as the primary owner and administrator of the Relias Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless functionality, user experience, and content management.
- Lead the development of scalable, technology-driven learning solutions, including e-learning, blended learning, and microlearning modules.
- Oversee the learning helpdesk function, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and exceptional internal customer service.
- Produce dashboards and advanced analytics to track learning progress, compliance, and overall effectiveness of programs.
Content Development & Project Oversight
- Lead the creation and curation of engaging, high-quality training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts and business leaders.
- Manage large-scale learning projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, People Ops, Total Rewards, Compliance, and Operational teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Champion innovation by identifying emerging learning technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the employee experience.
Communications, Culture & Stakeholder Engagement
- Drive internal communication strategies to promote learning opportunities, development initiatives, and engagement campaigns.
- Oversee the design and delivery of newsletters, intranet updates, and program-related announcements.
- Act as a culture ambassador, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, serving as a trusted advisor on employee development matters.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, People Development, HR, or related functions, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven experience designing and managing large-scale development programs and projects.
- Strong background in LMS administration (Relias or similar) and learning technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Zoom, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and platforms like Articulate, Canva, SurveyMonkey, and other learning technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php110, Php125,000.00 per month
