The Social Media Specialist is a digitally savvy and self-directed communications professional responsible for increasing brand awareness at Cygnific Manila to support local recruitment efforts and attract top talent. To achieve this, the Social Media Specialist will develop, execute, and optimize external communication strategies across Social media platforms. The role focuses on ensuring consistent, audience-centric messaging, strengthening employer branding, and delivering measurable outcomes aligned with Cygnific's overarching social media policies.

The Social Media Specialist develops and executes content strategies across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with Cygnific's brand and tone. They guide colleagues in effective digital communication, serve as a resource for best practices, and manage the company's external social media presence. They also support broader communication initiatives—such as campaigns and events—and proactively identify and improve inefficiencies in communication processes.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Holds a relevant degree or has at least one year of professional experience in Communication, Marketing, Media, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of current social media trends, digital engagement strategies, and online community dynamics.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office, photo and video editing tools, and Canva.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Filipino.
  • Confident in public speaking and adept at facilitating discussions, workshops, and collaborative sessions.
  • Familiarity with SEO concepts and their application to content creation and social media is considered a plus.
