Job description:

About the role:

As the Biomedical Service Engineer, you will be in charge of the preventive maintenance of various cardiopulmonary equipment. You will perform repairs and other technical activities with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance and Repair

  • Preventive and Scheduled Maintenance: Completing assigned preventive maintenance (PM) and other scheduled services
  • Diagnostic Repair: Performing diagnostic repairs on equipment and systems, reporting high-level needs to the Engineering Manager
  • Inspections and Reporting: Performing initial inspections, identifying, and reporting pre-existing conditions
  • Decommissioning: Submitting reports on decommissioned equipment and those needing check-up/maintenance/repair, including the scope of work and necessary spare parts
  • New Equipment: Performing a test run for new equipment

2. Technical Support and Customer Satisfaction

  • Post-Sales Support: Being responsible for post-sales maintenance
  • Problem Resolution: Ensuring satisfaction and problem resolution regarding medical and office equipment
  • Interdepartmental Support: Assisting in setting up new hospitals and pulling out equipment from terminated partner hospitals
  • Troubleshooting Training: Performing onsite basic troubleshooting training for employees
  • Supplier Communication: Directly communicating with the biomedical engineer of the suppliers for complicated matters

3. Departmental and Process Improvement

  • Teamwork: Working with and assisting other biomedical staff to ensure consistency in operations
  • Training: Giving full support/cooperation to help train new engineers (4).
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement of the Engineering Department

4. Vehicle Management (When Applicable)

  • Routine Inspection: Performing routine inspections (tire pressure, gasoline, oil, water)
  • Fuel Management: Refueling the company vehicle after every use
  • Reporting Concerns: Notifying the Assistant Administrative Officer of vehicle concerns
  • Accident Reports: Completing and submitting accident reports to HR and the Admin Officer

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Open to fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and enthusiasm for the biomedical field.
  • Travel: Must be flexible to travel extensively across various regions, including Mindanao and Luzon.
  • Knowledge: Foundational background knowledge in specific medical equipment, such as Prunus, Synovent, Monnal t76, and t65, is highly advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php20,000.00 per month
