The Project Manager for Operations is responsible for the effective supervision of civil and construction projects of varying degrees of complications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the implementation of the work program and ensures compliance to approved plans and project implementation procedures
  • Implements set guidelines, policies and procedures for the efficient administration of the Project Team Office
  • Conducts top level monitoring and review of the activities to ensure efficient performance and compliance to plans and specifications
  • Involved in the preparation and deliberation of project plans together with the Engineering and Design departments
  • Provides expert advice to PICs, Project Engineers and other site personnel on issues encountered in the project sites, as necessary
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of high level project performance reports as may be required by management
  • Participates in the completion of progress billing documentation covering operations accomplishment
  • Signs on project documents, letters, and other communiques, as necessary
  • Provides mentoring and coaching to Project In Charge, Project Engineers and other junior members of the Operations Team on performance and engineering concepts and practices
  • Offers expertise to the Engineering and Design Departments
  • Represents the company in various project meetings called by the clients or other external institutions, as necessary
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

  • The Project Manager for Operations must be a licensed Civil Engineer for at least ten (10) years
  • With at least Ten (10) years work experience; with experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity handling project management in a construction business
  • With experience working on a wide array of civil and construction work with varying degree of difficulty
  • With People Management experience
  • Willing to be assigned anywhere in Luzon as needed; current hiring is for our Pili, Camarines Sur Project
