Role Description: SEO Writer

As an SEO Content Writer, you will serve as the strategic leader and editorial authority of the content team, ensuring that all published materials not only uphold the standards of quality and accuracy but also align with our brand's mission, tone, and strategic objectives. Beyond writing, you will manage a team of Integrated Content Writers, coordinate with key departments, and continuously elevate our content performance through sharp SEO strategy and audience-centric planning.

You will take charge of refining our content engine, shaping editorial direction, developing our internal style guide, and ensuring that every published piece contributes meaningfully to traffic growth, community engagement, and brand authority.

Leadership & Oversight Responsibilities

• Content Supervision – Lead and review the work of Integrated Content Writers to ensure clarity, tone consistency, originality, SEO alignment, and alignment with campaign goals.
• Editorial Strategy – Own the monthly editorial calendar and contribute to the content strategy by identifying themes, assigning topics, and evaluating performance trends.
• Quality Assurance – Serve as the final checkpoint for all content prior to publishing. Implement quality control processes and support a zero-tolerance policy on AI-generated or plagiarized content.
• Mentorship – Guide writers in content structure, SEO writing, and tone development. Provide training and continuous feedback to improve the team's skills and writing output.
• Cross-functional Coordination – Work closely with the SEO Manager, UI/UX Developer, Marketing, and PR teams to align editorial output with campaign objectives and website developments.

Core Writing Responsibilities

• Thought Leadership – Write high-level and insightful articles for blogs, LinkedIn Pulse, PRs, guest publications, and community newsletters, especially for executive-level or B2B audiences.
• High-Impact Pages – Lead the creation of landing pages, whitepapers, and long-form resources that represent the brand's most authoritative voice.
• SEO Authority – Drive our SEO strategy by identifying high-opportunity keywords, optimizing content clusters, and coordinating with the SEO team for on-page and off-page optimization.
• Visual Integration – Guide the integration of visuals (via Canva or coordination with designers) for better content engagement and branding consistency.
• Publishing – Oversee and/or directly publish content across CMS platforms such as WordPress, LinkedIn Pulse, and others.

Qualifications:

• Education – Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required. Postgraduate education is an advantage.
• Experience – Minimum 2 years of proven SEO content writing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or editorial role. Experience with fintech, trading, or financial markets is strongly preferred.
• SEO Expertise – In-depth understanding of SEO tools (Semrush, Google Console, SurferSEO), keyword strategy, metadata structuring, and technical on-page optimization.
• Portfolio – A strong portfolio that demonstrates thought leadership content, long-form SEO articles, and editorial oversight.
• Writing Mastery – Excellent command of English grammar, structure, and audience tone matching, with superior editing skills and attention to detail.
• Analytics – Comfortable using performance data to refine editorial strategy. Strong understanding of CTR, impressions, bounce rates, and other key content metrics.
• Tool Proficiency – Strong working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), Google Docs, Grammarly, SurferSEO, Semrush, and Canva.
• Team Management – Experience supervising or mentoring junior writers, including workload management and performance monitoring.

Preferred Qualification:

• Certifications in SEO, Content Marketing, or related fields (e.g., HubSpot, Yoast, Semrush Academy)
• Experience in managing content teams for fintech, SaaS, or B2B digital products
• Working knowledge of community platforms and engagement content formats

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
