Job description:

· Curriculum Development:

o Develop comprehensive and engaging textbook content aligned with national and international curriculum standards for ICT Education.

o Create age-appropriate content for K-12 students, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

o Design hands-on activities, projects, and exercises to reinforce learning.

o Develop lesson plans, teacher guides, and supplementary materials.

· Technical Content Creation:

o Translate complex technical concepts in computer science, programming, networking, robotics, and related fields into clear and understandable language.

o Research and stay up to date on the latest advancements in ICT education.

o Create accurate diagrams, illustrations, and visual aids to support learning.

· Collaboration and Review:

o Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.

o Participate in content reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.

o Ensure all content is free of plagiarism and adheres to copyright regulations.

· Digital Integration:

o Contribute to the development of digital resources and interactive content to complement textbooks.

o Ensure content is compatible with various digital platforms and learning management systems.

o Possibly assist in writing code snippets for examples, or the debugging of instructional code.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of ICT concepts, principles, and applications.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise language.

· Experience in curriculum development or educational content creation is a plus.

· Familiarity with K-12 education standards and pedagogical practices.
