We are currently looking for a qualified Safety Officer to ensure our workplace complies with all safety regulations as mandated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and other government agencies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BOSH/COSH training, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and implement the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at project sites or facilities.
  • Ensure full compliance with DOLE standards, including RA 11058 and its IRR.
  • Investigate work-related accidents and incidents, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Facilitate safety orientation and toolbox meetings for employees and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with the Safety and Health Committee and DOLE regarding safety reports and documentation.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all safety activities, including permits, PPE issuance, and training records.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer (SO3)
  • Completed BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) training.
  • Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a safety-related role.
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE regulations, OSH standards
  • Scaffolding Inspector Certification is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Willing to be assigned to project sites if needed
