Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Safety Officer to join our team for ongoing construction projects in Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company safety policies, DOLE regulations, and other applicable standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor compliance with the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure that all safety procedures are properly observed.
  • Prepare and submit Safety Reports, Accident Reports, and Safety Audit findings to management and DOLE as required.
  • Facilitate Toolbox Meetings and Safety Orientations for workers and subcontractors.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer and Site Manager to ensure safety compliance in all project activities.
  • Maintain updated safety documentation and ensure that all PPE are properly used.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer II (Certificate required).
  • Graduate of BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or any related course.
  • With at least 2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety.
  • Knowledgeable in RA 11058 and DO Implementing Rules of OSH Law).
  • Strong leadership, observation, and communication skills.
  • Willing to be assigned in Manila and to start immediately.
