Job Summary:

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, monitoring, and improving occupational health and safety programs. The role involves inspecting work areas, identifying hazards, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor company safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (RA
  • Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and orientations for all employees.
  • Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and first aid response.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety awareness across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Any Related Field
  • DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification.
  • At least 1 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the automotive, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, chemical handling, and equipment safety.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
