Job Summary

The Business Analyst's role is to plan and design efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help address client IT needs, communicate and resolve systems issues, and identify improvements and solutions that can be taken in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. The incumbent acts as a liaison between clients and the developers and is responsible for aligning. Analyzes and designs hospital systems, creates, designs and modifies systems specifications. Designs user interface, outputs, data and file structures, system logic, system architecture, program flow charts and modules and training. Manages systems and applications development.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Systems Analysis and Design

  • Studies clients' existing business models, data flow, and workflow processes
  • Identifies options for potential solutions and improvements and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
  • Elicits and analyzes user requirements; translates, documents, and modifies requirements into technical specifications (functional and non-functional requirements); endorses system specifications to application developers for program coding.
  • Assists and creates in the design user interface, outputs, data and file structures, system logic, system architecture, program flow charts and modules; creates and modifies wireframes as necessary
  • Identifies options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability; drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Identifies application modules for development
  • Suggests necessary validations to the programs to adhere to existing procedures and policies
  • Works closely with the development team, vendors and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

System Implementation

  • Coordinates/assists in the pilot testing and implementation of a new or enhanced system
  • Liaises extensively with external or internal clients
  • Conducts user acceptance testing prior deployment of program changes
  • Creates user manuals and provides training to users of a new system or feature
  • Draws up a testing schedule for the complete system

Software Maintenance

  • Analyzes the new requirements of the system for proper coding/debugging of the program
  • Specifies modifications of the database structure for an application
  • Performs necessary enhancement to the programs based on system requirement
  • Evaluates the performance of implemented programs
  • Monitors/Installs new programs and/or data in the production environment for implementation

Data Management

  • Maintain and update company databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency

Data Entry and Processing

  • Enter and update data in systems as required.
  • Process data requests and generate reports as needed by various departments.
  • Verify and validate data for accuracy and completeness

Reporting and Analysis

  • Assist in the creation of data reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify data requirements and generate tailored reports

Support and Training

  • Provide support to L1 IT support on system features and data related concerns.
  • Provide support and training to staff on data-related processes and systems.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide solutions to improve data management practices

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for improving data management processes and systems.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to streamline data operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in BS Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related course; or equivalent work experience.
  • At least with 2 years of related work experience
  • Proven experience in data administration, data entry, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access, MongoDB).
  • Experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Has a background in document analysis
  • Knowledgeable in clinical and/or business processes
  • With document management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in resolving data quality problems
  • Experience in managing data initiatives and ensuring compliance with data standards.
  • Able to align master data rules and application operations with business and IT stakeholders
  • Physically and mentally fit, with pleasing personality, with clinical and/or business background, can communicate well, self-motivated, positive work attitude, good inter-personal relation, ability to handle confidential matters with integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Willing to work in Arca South, Taguig City on an on-site work setup

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
