About the Role

We're looking for an IT Operations Specialist – Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to help improve business efficiency through technology and ensure the smooth operation of critical business systems.

This role involves analyzing, maintaining, and supporting systems such as ERP, POS, and other business applications. You'll work closely with users, developers, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, document processes, and implement improvements that enable the business to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities

Application Maintenance

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for IT systems.
  • Manage system version control, deployment, and testing of new and existing features.
  • Monitor system stability and performance after version updates.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and escalate to the technical team or external consultants when needed.

User Training

  • Identify user training needs on implemented systems and automation tools.
  • Conduct system and process training for end-users.

Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as business process flows, user manuals, and system specifications.
  • Document and manage user requests for customization or enhancements.

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to IT policies and security standards, including data protection and system access.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems, especially servers, to ensure compliance.

User Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP, POS, and other business systems.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
  • Coordinate with consultants or vendors for complex issues and follow up until resolved.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of system-related issues.

Performance Indicators

  • High availability and reliability of business systems (ERP, POS, HRIS, etc.).
  • Timely completion of projects within scope and budget.
  • Efficient and responsive IT support.
  • Compliance with IT policies, security standards, and core values.
  • Well-documented and user-friendly systems and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT-related role.
  • Experience using or supporting ERP, POS, or other business systems (preferably in retail or hospitality).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications; experience with analytics or business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
