HR Specialist

The HR Specialist (C&B) will be responsible in managing compensation programs including payroll, assists in Time-keeping, will assist in administering various benefits programs and maintaining employee data and records.
Responsibilities
- Assists in designing and implementing compensation programs to maintain competitive advantage in the talent market.
- Prepares payroll inputs and assists in administering payroll processes for Japanese teams/employees.
- Assists in time keeping and attendance-payroll related responsibilities.
- Participates in salary benchmarking exercises and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates.
- Assists in administering various employee benefit programs.
- Updates and implements compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Processes compensation and benefits related queries and responds in a timely manner.
- Assists auditors in providing C&B-related data or supporting documentation required for the audit.
- Assists in preparing and submitting C&B-related regular reports.
- Staying abreast on new laws, labor regulations and market trends impacting the company's compensation and benefits practices.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee data and relevant records.
- Other responsibilities and duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years work experience as a Compensation and Benefits or Human Resource practitioner
- Experience in collecting quantitative data for reports and analysis
- Experience in payroll and timekeeping-related responsibilities
- With prior experience in global or multinational company
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and other database application programs.
- Bilingual – proficient in verbal and written Japanese and English
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Can work with data and must be detail-oriented
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
- Demonstrating an ability to work with confidential information.
