Technical Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept individual to join our team as a Mid-Level Technical Account Manager. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between our clients, sales, and engineering teams, navigating a complex ecosystem of integrated technologies.
You will be responsible for building strong, consultative relationships with clients, deeply understanding their technical environments, and ensuring their successful adoption and utilization of our sophisticated product suite spanning software and physical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales:
- Partner with Sales Executives to understand prospect business goals and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to specific client use cases.
- Lead the technical response to RFIs/RFPs, ensuring accuracy and highlighting competitive advantages.
Assist in architecting solutions and developing Statements of Work (SOWs) that integrate diverse technologies.
Post-sales:
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and advocate for a portfolio of assigned accounts throughout their lifecycle.
- Proactively monitor client system health, adoption metrics, and usage patterns to identify risks and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct regular Technical Business Reviews (TBRs) to align our roadmap with client strategies and ensure continued value realization.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical guidance, bridging the gap between client issues and our engineering/support teams for complex troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to channel client feedback and influence future feature development in AI, web, and infrastructure.
- Stay current on industry trends across Web, AI, and physical security networking to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical account management, sales engineering, or customer success role for a complex technical product.
- Strong technical understanding of Web technologies (SaaS/Cloud), AI/Machine Learning concepts, Digital Infrastructure, and networking principles related to CCTV/physical security networks.
- Proven ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, consultative approach to client challenges.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority clients simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hybrid environment that combines hardware (cameras, servers) with software (AI analytics, web dashboards).
- Relevant technical certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
