Technical Business Analyst for Accounting

About the role
Global Payments Process Centre, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst for Accounting to join our growing team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in analysing and optimising our accounting processes, working closely with our finance and technology teams.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse existing accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to design, develop, and implement new accounting solutions
- Test and validate new accounting systems to ensure they meet business needs
- Provide training and support to end-users on new accounting tools and processes
- Continuously monitor and optimise accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst or technical analyst in an accounting or finance environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, and best practices
- Proficient in financial analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in implementing accounting-related software and systems
- Hands-on experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems implementation and configuration
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic SQL and database knowledge for data analysis and system integration
- Must be a Philippine citizen with legal authorisation to work in the Philippines
