Job Summary:
The Admin and Messenger Associate provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of office functions. The role combines clerical and messenger responsibilities — assisting in documentation, office coordination, and delivery of company documents and materials to various offices, banks, and government agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Functions:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support such as filing, encoding, photocopying, scanning, and recordkeeping.
- Manage and monitor office supplies and equipment; prepare requisitions when needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, letters, and other official documents.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and communication between departments.
- Support HR, Accounting, and other departments in handling administrative requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office and storage areas.
- Ensure proper safekeeping of company files and confidential records.
- Deliver and collect documents, checks, and other materials to and from clients, suppliers, banks, and government agencies.
- Ensure timely, safe, and accurate delivery of all company materials.
- Record all deliveries and pickups in a logbook or tracking sheet.
- Maintain company vehicle or motorcycle assigned for errands and ensure compliance with traffic and safety rules.
- Assist with logistical arrangements for company events, supplies, and other administrative errands.
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- At least an Associate Degree or Vocational Course Graduate in Office Administration, Business, or related field.
- With valid driver's license (Restriction Codes 1 & 2).
- Preferably with 1 year of experience in administrative work or messenger duties.
- Knowledge of routes to government offices, banks, and suppliers.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Honest, organized, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
