The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Key tasks include processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping of all revenue and expenses, bank reconciliation and conducting month-end reviews/balance sheet reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping for HK, Canada, and UK Entities (70%)

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end closings for UK, HK, and Canada entities, ensuring accuracy across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
  • Prepare financial statements, conduct month-end reviews, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Implement and optimize internal controls, particularly around disbursements, reconciliations, and closing procedures.

Philippine Finance Oversight (20%)

  • Supervise all Philippine accounting activities and manage the relationship with the local CPA, including task allocation and workflow formalization.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and tax requirements (BIR, SEC, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for local finance (including banking) and tax concerns, resolving issues independently with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors as the finance lead for external relationships, ensuring alignment with global finance goals and managing vendor performance issues.

Ad Hoc and Administrative Support (10%)

  • Provide administrative assistance for finance-related tasks as needed.
  • Support special projects and initiatives requiring financial analysis or reporting.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits or regulatory reviews.
