As a Senior Accountant, your mission is to oversee and manage the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. You will be responsible for overseeing Fund operations, cash management, ensuring optimal cash flow management, mitigating financial risk, and compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to financial planning and analysis by providing insights and recommendations.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and achieve a zero-error rate in financial reports.
• Develop dashboards to measure the drivers of business performance, financial and cash forecasts, and provide insights to the team.
• Ensure accurate Fund Accounting and a compliant investor process.
• Manage funding liquidity efficiently.
• Maintain accuracy of financial transactions, including weekly cash reports, liquidity forecasts, calculations, and payment processing.
• Ensure accurate accounting and allocation of investor trades and portfolios.
• Maintain accuracy of financial data input and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash and Liquidity Management:

• Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short-term and long-term cash needs.
• Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize idle cash.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely funding.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize returns.
• Reconcile investor cash and LOC accounts, conduct interest calculations, and prepare related reports.
• Ensure maximum utilization of credit lines and monitor compliance with credit agreements.

Cash Flow Forecasting:

• Develop accurate cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations and recommendations.

Fund and Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Oversee engagement with Fund Administrator, review deliverables, and develop KPIs.
• Review NAV packs, financial statements, and investment transactions.
• Ensure timely production of financial reports and investor statements.
• Manage portfolio of investors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Reconcile cash and support month-end closing.
• Create dashboards for financial analysis and present findings to senior management.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and address findings.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

• Develop and enforce operating policies and procedures.
• Establish internal control procedures to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
• Implement automation tools and best practices for efficiency.
• Lead or support fund-related projects and risk management strategies.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry standards.
