(1) Serves as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee

(2) Conduct investigation of incidents and submits analysis of incidents and corrective and preventive action reports to the Commander.

(3) Help in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions to responsible positions to eliminate accident causes.

(4) Initiate, organize and coordinate health and safety training programs of employees and management.

(5) Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.

(6) Conduct routine health and safety inspection/audit to identify issues or non-conformity.

(7) Report infractions of personnel to HRA (i.e., via the Infraction Report).

(8) Report incident of unsafe conditions/acts to process owner for corrective and preventive actions (i.e., via the Incident Report).

(9) Conduct regular risk assessment (monthly) and enforce corrective and preventive measures.

(10) Oversee the performance of Company Nurse and first aiders to ensure that policies, programs are procedures related to health are being followed.

(11) Develop/maintain work permits for hot work, work at height, confined space, and other related hazardous activities.

(12) Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

(13) Perform regular review of existing manual, which includes the policies, procedures, forms, and update according to OSH Standards and legislation. If necessary, develop policy, procedure, programs, or forms and seek for review and approval of the Commander and, if deemed necessary, to the Management.

(14) Manage program on PPE.

(15) Support the Emergency Response Team with their programs and activities. Help ensure that firefighting equipment are conforming to safety requirements, strategically located and properly maintained.

(16) Participate in the health and safety audits of customers and third party auditors. Likewise, help to correct audit findings on a timely manner.

(17) Report directly to the Commander of the Health and Safety Committee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
