Are you driven by a passion for workplace safety and environmental excellence? Laguna Metts Corporation is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer ready to lead safety initiatives and raise the bar across our operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Safety Officer, you'll be the key player in ensuring we meet all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. Reporting directly to the Safety Committee Department/Chairman, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and monitoring safety policies and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Providing safety training and emergency response guidance to personnel
  • Investigating incidents and recommending corrective measures
  • Maintaining complete and accurate safety documentation
  • Promoting a strong safety culture in collaboration with team leaders and stakeholders
  • Keeping up with the latest HSE regulations and best practices
  • Developing and recommending safety plans and policies

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer II or III in a manufacturing setting (diecasting experience is a plus)
  • College graduate
  • Completion of 40-hour BOSH/COSH training
  • Additional 48-hour advanced OSH training relevant to the industry
  • Solid knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work on 12 hours shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
