Job Title: Managing Director - Maritime TransportationCreated on: 20/05/2025 PASAY CITYJob Summary:The Director will lead the operations for Cruise Administrations Services Inc. (CASI) and manage overall responsibility for Crew Creatives & Communications, Recruitment, Onboarding, Process Improvement, Logistic Air / Hotel Meet & Greet Services & IT. He will be responsible for leading the company's strategic direction, operational management, and overall profitability. This role involves overseeing operations that cater to CCL and different brands, ensuring tailored service delivery, operational excellence, effective client relationship management, driving business growth, and leading a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities:Engage closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align business strategies with overall organizational objectives. Lead strategic initiatives to expand, optimize, and enhance CASI operations, ensuring alignment with the company's growth targets and service excellence goals. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with client expectations and contractual obligations.

Implement best practices and aim for continuous improvement to enhance performance and productivity. Establish relationships and engage with senior leaders/decision makers, regulators, and external partners, managing communications and addressing inquiries to ensure a positive company image. Identify and mitigate operational risks and challenges, such as regulatory compliance, market volatility, and supply chain disruptions, developing and implementing risk management strategies and business continuity plans.

Act as the official company representative for all external concerns related to business operations. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring needs are met and resolving escalations promptly. Conduct regular performance reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team and workforce, fostering a culture of excellence, technology, and innovation, along with a sense of accountability. Lead initiatives to optimize CASI operations for efficiency and growth. Be overall responsible for setting, obtaining, and overseeing the company's financial resources, including budgeting (Opex/Capex), cost control, and financial analysis, ensuring operational activities align with financial objectives.

Develop and maintain detailed reports on CASI performance, including operational performance, financial metrics, and client satisfaction. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making. Qualifications:Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is preferred. Required Certifications: Leadership and Management certifications or relevant qualifications are preferred. Required Experience: Extensive experience (10 years) in BPO management, logistics, or cruise line industry shoreside or related fields, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.

Technical/Computer Skills: Deep understanding of the cruise industry, including guest services and operational requirements, financial acumen, experience with budget management, proficiency in BPO operations and technology solutions, and familiarity with communication/reporting tools and MS applications. Preferred Skills & Abilities: Strategic thinking, operational excellence, client focus, leadership and team development, financial acumen, innovation and technology integration, problem-solving, decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
