Account Receivable Supervisor

Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's receivables function to ensure timely collection, accurate recording, and proper reporting of customer accounts. He/She supervises the AR team, monitors compliance with company policies, and provides financial data to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and proper documentation of transactions.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, addressing discrepancies or issues with clients as needed.
- Oversee the encoding of receivables and collections into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and approve daily deposit slips and collection reports prepared by staff.
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of invoices, official receipts, and supporting documents.
- Prepare periodic AR aging reports and collection efficiency analyses for management review.
- Coordinate with collectors/messengers and assist in collection activities when necessary.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to AR staff to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Collaborate with other finance functions to align receivables with overall cash flow and financial planning.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior for job development and operational support.
- Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in accounting, with focus on receivables and collections
- Supervisory experience preferred, with strong ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and internal teams
