About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities of the finance team
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Mentoring and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry
  • Previous experience supervising a team of 10 or more finance professionals
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for accounts receivable management
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
  • Experience managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and credit management
  • Proven track record in debt collection and managing customer payment disputes
